Privacy Policy

This notice describes how the personal data of people who visit the Bit Company website or use its contact form are processed, pursuant to Articles 12 and 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data controller

Shadas Pvt. Ltd. Italia, owner of the Bit Company, mailserverpro and pecserver trademarks — VAT IT-02284380181.

2. Data processed while browsing

The systems that make the website available record technical data such as IP address, request date and time, requested page, response outcome, browser, operating system and similar information normally transmitted while browsing.

These data are processed to deliver the website, ensure its security, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and establish responsibility in the event of attacks. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in the security and continuity of its systems, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Contact form

The form collects first name, surname, email address, telephone number and the text of the enquiry. These fields are required to respond and assess the proposed project.

The legal basis is taking steps at the data subject’s request prior to entering into a contract, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data are not automatically used for newsletters or marketing.

Messages are sent to bitcompany@mailserverpro.it and retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any resulting relationship, subject to legal obligations, protection of rights or disputes.

4. Google Analytics 4

Only with the user’s consent, the website loads Google Analytics 4 with the identifier G-DXE0DYFF4P to obtain aggregate statistics on visits and page use. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled in the website’s implementation.

Pseudonymous online identifiers, pages visited, duration and approximate information about geographical area, browser and device may be processed. For European Union users, Google states that it does not log or store individual IP addresses in Analytics.

Legal basis: consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through “Review cookie choices”. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Any international transfers are handled by the provider in accordance with the safeguards stated in its terms and privacy documents.

5. Recipients and processors

Data may be processed by authorised personnel and technical providers acting on behalf of the controller, including hosting and maintenance, email and Google Analytics, to the extent necessary for their respective services. Data are not sold.

6. Retention periods

• technical logs: according to the rotation configured on the server and for as long as necessary for security, diagnostics and incident management;
• contact enquiries: for as long as necessary to respond and manage any resulting relationship, subject to obligations or disputes;
• cookie preferences: a maximum of 6 months, after which the website asks for a new choice;
• external service data: according to the account settings and the terms of the relevant provider.

7. Data subject rights

Data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Requests may be sent to bitcompany@mailserverpro.it. A complaint may also be lodged with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

8. Automated decisions

The website does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on the user.
